Mars (The Warrior) moves into Leo

Mars   is known as a Commander in Chief according to Vedic system of Astrology.   Broadly Mars signifies Defense  forces, power, fighting spirit, Accidents, Natural Calamities, Security forces, Aggression, younger siblings.   Sun and Mars are the protecting forces in any chart.  Sun rules Leadership, Ego, Administration where as Mars loves to protect these things by assisting the ruler by providing sufficient energy.  This is why Sun enjoys in the signs(Aries,Scorpio) ruled by Mars and Mars enjoys in the sign Leo which is ruled by Sun.    

A strong Mars is usually good for giving good competition but due to its malefic nature most of the times this over shoots and turns into violence.  Violent approach of any human being is usually referred to Mars.  An ill placed or a debilitated Mars denotes weak energy levels, lack of initiative, short temper and violent nature due to low tolerance low energy levels. Mars is debilitated in Cancer.  If we slightly get into a deeper analysis and question ourselves of how this can be interpreted then we will get the following explanation.  Mars is the protector as it is signified as a commander which can be simply explained as the energy that we have in us to respond when something happens to us more specifically at the physical level.   If we have more energy certainly we will have more courage to fight the situation and we confront more.  Now let me dwell much deeper into this concept for a better understanding.  Mars is debilitated is in the sign of Cancer which is lorded by Moon.  Whenever this happens it is obvious that we will have a feel of some trouble towards our security which is more at the mind level.  Whenever we fail to handle this psychologically this could result in violent behavior and unnecessary aggression, harsh approach in our speech and in handling different situations around us. Unfortunately this is a much longer period i.e. 5th October 2009 to 26th May 2010 which is unusual so the effect is more. 

The Central Government stance against Naxals (Maoists) has given a negative outcome.   The CRPF men died in large number in two successive incidents in Dantewada district of Chattisgarh within a span of one month.  This is a period where Terrorists and anti government forces had an edge over the government the obvious reason for this is a debilitated Mars.

The most important thing that we can notice here during the transit of Mars into Cancer which is a watery sign  we had  experienced major cyclone which affected the lives of many people in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka during October 2009.   Once again we had witnessed a Cyclone in Andhra Pradesh and a Major plane crash of the decade in Mangalore Airport of Karnataka State.  Hence Mars has shown maximum effect while entering and leaving the sign of Cancer.

Leo is the fifth house of the natural zodiac or the chart of kalapurusha.  This is ruled by Sun and it represents power and Authority.  Mars entry into Leo is going to have an impact with the people in higher positions.  Some changes in the state and central governments are visible due to this transit.  Today we have already got a hint from the withdrawal of support from BJP to Shibusoren Government of   Jharkhand.  So this transit could pave the way for some changes in the positions of various political leaders of the States and Centre.

NASA’s Kepler Mission Rockets into Space in Search of Other Earths

NASA’s Kepler mission successfully launched

NASA launched its new space telescope called Kepler on March 6th 2009 and will attempt to bring the human race a step closer to the eternal question – are we alone?

It is an historical project as we can be able to get new perspectives on human life itself.

Some fundamental questions will be attacked in this mission that has been part of human quest for a long time, ever since the humans began to look up into the sky and see the world of stars above our heads.

Measuring extreme low changes in strength of light, will enable the telescope to find habitats similar to our earth in space.

Researchers believe strongly that there are billions of planets like ours within our own Milky way system. Some of these may have the potential of life.

Kepler telescope will look for earth like planets in a distance from the sun, similar to the distance earth has. In this zone of interest there will be potential for water, which again will give raise to potential of sustainable life as we know it. The larger amount of planets similar to ours, the larger chance there is for finding life forms.

Kepler is looking out for small objects in a distance of over three thousand light years, which is really hard to grasp for human mind. It is a large distance, and the objects we are looking for, are very small. Kepler has the ability to detect these small objects at these distances due to its high sensitivity of the equipment onboard.

On of the researchers on the Kepler team, William Borucki, said they will not be able to find E.T himself, but maybe find his home. Maybe in the future it will be possible to establish whether these objects have life on them, and observe its activities. However, at the moment, we do not have the technology to determine this.

As long as we receive light from these planets, we will be able to analyze and observe chemical substances and look for signatures of life.

The first exo planet in orbit around another star was discovered first time in 1995 and there has been found another 342 new ones since then. However, most of these giant planets are made of only gas, like our own Jupiter and Saturn, and they are extremely hot. None of these are believed to be like our planet. These objects are different from our earth planet, and can not have life as we know about from our knowledge at this moment. These objects are very close to their star, and are probably being fried by their sun.

Technology has not enabled us so far to detect other objects than these 341 ones, and its not s sign of that there are not objects like our earth present in these regions.

The question everybody has asked themselves through history of science is if our solar system is unique and out of the ordinary or it is quite normal out in deeper space what we have in our solar system. Kepler telescope is a space based system that will enable us to tell us more about this, as terrestrial based systems are to prone to noise and signal dampening to be able to detect things Kepler telescope will be able to.

Kepler telescope will be able to continuously observe more than 100.000 stars that are up to three thousand light years away from us in the Cygnus Lyra region of the Milky way system.

The telescope will be in earth orbit for over three years before the researchers can determine whether we have detected a similar object as the photo (Pale blue dot) from the astronomer Carl Saga showed the world of earth from a satellite far away from earth (farthest away ever taken of earth).

If Kepler telescope does not detect anything, it will establish theories about our place in the universe, which will remodel some theories existing today.  Researchers’ states they would be surprised if they do not find anything with Kepler.

After being stirred up a little and opened for new possibilities with the Moon in Aquarius the last two days we are now swimming on into new waters.

The Pisces Moon is the most sensitive position it can have in the zodiac. It is presenting us with a chance to turn inwards, to dream and fantasize, floating along with inner nudges and connect with the divine.

Moon is our emotional filter towards the world and how we might perceive people around us. With Moon in Pisces there is the chance to tap into higher states of consciousness through meditation and contemplation which are keywords for Pisces.

Pisces: The Wise and Mystical Servant (Feb 20–March 20) is ruled by Neptune. Water is attributed to Pisces and it is considered a feminine sign.

By the end of the astrological year, all that has been learned in the previous months is integrated in Pisces. The gentle and sensitive Pisceans see life through a spiritual framework based on a deep sense of connection with others and with the entire universe. This gives them the gift of love, compassion, and empathy for others and they may choose careers in medicine, psychology, or spiritual work. Time for Yourself

Moon in Pisces wants us to raise our consciousness to the level of unconditional love and experience the oneness with all that is.

When we experience love and that deep human connection with others we are in an exalted state of consciousness which feels wonderful, satisfying and joyous. This is our birthright! This is what we all want and need to be truly happy. If we don’t manage to find that experience of love in our life; we can feel disconnected, maybe even depressed or in fear. Then the world out there appears as a dark and frightening place!

Jupiter & Neptune Conjunction in Aquarius is in an Exact Conjunction

Jupiter as well as Neptune is ruling the 12th house and Pisces. Jupiter’s search for meaning and Neptune’s transcending of the concrete in favor of the non-physical fit very well together!

They can help us to gain spiritual awareness and deepen our faith.

Or if we don’t take the time to allow that to happen we might feel confusion and get lost in illusions and projections of our mind.

Neptune and Jupiter will be moving on into Pisces pretty soon, because they are already at 26 degrees Aquarius. The Moon in Pisces introduces us and helps to prepare for the limitless inner sky of the potential of waking up to a higher reality behind the physical world.

Mercury Semi-square Mars

Mercury is in Cancer and Mars is still in Taurus. The semi-square has the potential to stir up feelings and thoughts of irritation, anger and impatience. Just watch yourself and don’t take yourself too serious! You can channel these energies to propel you into right action and gain more awareness of your inner dynamics and thought patterns.

In astrology we differentiate between time quantities versus time quality.

The Flow of Time
Our normal experience of time passing is based on a mental perception. We do perceive the unfolding of time and the changes all around us in nature throughout the year. Our ancestors already watched the constellation of the stars in the skies changing along with the seasons.
There is a cause and an effect on the horizontal level of time.

But time is tricky! In truth there is really only the eternal present moment; the past is a memory and the future a projection.

Time Quality in Astrology
In astrology we work with the quality of time in the moment of a beginning of something.
This beginning can be the new life of a baby, the signing of a contract or a marriage. We treat this beginning as the seed moment of what has begun to unfold. Like the seed of a plant already contains all the information needed for the plant to grow into the full plant.

When we cast a chart for a baby, we know what potential is has for this life.
The quality or seed of this beginning is determining the unfolding of those possibilities in the quantity of time passing. Imagine a book which contains already the whole story, but we need time quantity available to us to read it and enjoy the whole story.

Astrology works vertically. It uses the planets as a symbolic map to raise our consciousness to greater wisdom and understanding and helps to align us with the choreography of the universal laws and forces we are part of as well as the planets.

Mercury in Libra  Squaring Mars in Cancer
The square is an aspect with friction and challenge between the two planets connected. Mercury in Libra likes to take both sides into consideration, weighs the arguments, keeps an open mind and asks questions. Mars in Cancer tends to defend the home turf for any costs. Both planets connected with a square might not find it so easy to settle into a meaningful conversation without annoyance or escalation into a serious argument. Just be aware of it!

Lunar Astrology

We will have a Full Moon in Pisces tomorrow. The Full Moon is on her highest point of radiating her energy. The nights are full of light, the cats are roaming and having fun and we might have trouble with sleeping. Depending on the position of the Full Moon in your chart and how it ties in with your Moon and other planets you might feel a stronger or less strong impact.

Dream Life
The Moon in Pisces will bring activity into your dreams at night and your visions at day. Recording your dreams in a journal in the morning can give you tremendous insight into your inner world and many books and seminars have been given with good information about it.
I like to think as every person or situation I encounter in my dreams as a part of myself.

Pisces is ruled by Neptune and is the last sign in the evolutionary cycle of the zodiac. Pisces is a sign of completion of one cycle of learning. Therefore this is a place of connection with a deeper level of our being, our divine origin and our oneness with others.

Pisces is the dreamer, spiritual teacher and saint. Pisces points us towards higher levels of consciousness and wants us to be a messenger for the divine nature. I like to invite you to take advantage of the time quality of the moment! Get comfortable and sit with your cup of tea or coffee and take some time for yourself with your journal. Pick one area in your life to look at more closely. How does it look like? Are you happy and satisfied with your life in that area? What would you imagine it to look like if you had three wishes from the fairy? Get wild in your imagination and it will point you into the right direction! Today I got this quote from Abraham / Hicks which might help you with this.

Making Peace with My Today Will Improve My Future. It may sound odd, but the fastest way to get to a new-and-improved situation is to make peace with your current situation. By making lists of the most positive aspects you can find about your current situation, you then release your resistance to the improvements that are waiting for you. But if you rail against the injustices of your current situation, you hold yourself in Vibrational alignment with what you do not want, and you cannot then move in the direction of improvement. It defies Law. In every particle of the Universe, there is that which is wanted – and the lack of it.

I also like to give you a gemstone to consider for your process.
