Planets, Stars, Nebulae, Galaxies – Universe Size Comparison 2009 [HD]
By Stars & Astronomy On May 27th, 2010***READ THIS BEFORE ASKING ANYTHING*** This is the ultimate size comparison video that you can find on the internet in HD. Starts with the tinyest dwarf planets of our solar system, then continues with large planets, dwarf stars, stars giant/supergiant/hypergiant stars, nebulae, globular clusters and galaxies. There is the famous VY Canis Majoris rated as the biggest star known, but very few know that that the incredible IC 1101 is the largest known object in the entire universe. Only galaxy clusters are bigger than it. Hope you enjoy this one. FAQ: -Sizes are not 100% accurate as there is no way to directly measure them. -Star sizes may change in the future, and new stars may eventually appear into this biggest stars list -Song: Celtic Panpipes – Ride on

I showed my daughter this because she said she was ‘big’
…AMAZING!
@MrKhan246 u r absolutely right
this is all god creation still some people denied the truth they say made by fluke Day of Judgment god ask unbeliever enter hell of fire forever why u do show anythings believe u god tell unbeliever what about dead all my sign than no excuse unbeliever burning hell of fire eternity
@scyth168 what if “nature” is more than u think? if the God I believe doesn’t exist, maybe does exist a kind of “God”, which would be what u call “nature”.
science has proved how planets moons etc are formed, but not WHY are formed.
“Mass can’t be created or destroyed, just transformed”, and that’s a science axiome, but somehow it had to appear, don’t u think? if there’s no “creator” how did all of that arrived here???
@scyth168 Why does a creator should not be the source of our universe? Who knows?
dieses video ist schlecht im vergleich zu anderen
@XsiopaoX Who knows? Nobody!
@whatthehell81 not solar system, of Milky Way. (galaxy)
@XsiopaoX big crash !
@antares365
why does the universe, or anything, have to have a “creator”?
nature is the creator of all.
science has proved how planets,moons,stars, galaxies, etc. are formed, and so how come the universe as a whole has to be different?
sadly, we may never know how or when the universe appeared, and we definately wont know what was here before it, but why does an “intelligent creator” have to be the source?
@housemastah lol yea i was mistaken oh and sorry for going off at the person i left the comment 4 lol was having a bad day
@bahamut6667
light travels at 299 792 458 METERS per second, can understand if you belive its miles when it says m/s
I knew that everyday the universe expands
@OQUENDO1968
Not really… the planets are VERY far apart… esp. the outer planets, Neptune is about 4.5 billion km away from the Sun. VY Canis Majoris is around 3 billion km in diameter.
@XsiopaoX In my opinion it would be nothing. Not black, not white, but just empty. Just not but a large void. No form of matter existing whatsoever.
@XsiopaoX no one knows
@whatthehell81
LOL! About 1,000 times over with plenty of room left.
My dicks bigger.
I believe in God, but wonder: if he doesn’t exist, what could’ve created all of that?
.
I don’t think like “it just appeared and there it is”.
If science will have the answer, it seems that will be like within 10^1000000000 years, or some less.
if vy canis major is less than a fraction of a germ compared to the observable universe and earth is nuthin comaperd 2 vy canis major i wonder what we are compared 2 the observable universe
We are nothing in this unimaginable fucking huge universe (or multiverse) !!! Even these largest known stars and galaxies are nothing too.
God created everything…….nice video
Congratulations for the video! Impressive!
question… what happen when vy canis turns into a supernova
?
